Return and Refund Policy

This policy explains how Wallan Fencing and Timber Supply handles returns, refunds and exchanges. It applies to supplies purchased from us or requested through our website.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or changes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If goods have a major failure, you may choose a refund or replacement. If the failure is not major, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund within a reasonable time.
Change-of-mind returns
Please contact us before returning any goods. We may accept a change-of-mind return where the item is unused, in saleable condition, in its original packaging and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Returns for change of mind are considered at our discretion. A 10% restocking fee applies to all approved change-of-mind returns and will be deducted from any refund or credit.
Items we may be unable to accept
We do not accept change-of-mind returns for Colorbond products. We may also be unable to accept change-of-mind returns for cut-to-length timber, custom-ordered products, specially mixed or tinted items, clearance goods, items damaged after delivery or collection, or goods that are no longer in saleable condition.
This does not affect your rights where goods do not meet consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.
Fabricated and custom products
We do not accept change-of-mind returns or cancellations for fabricated, cut-to-size, welded, drilled, modified or custom-made products once fabrication or processing has commenced.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
If you believe goods are faulty, damaged or were supplied incorrectly, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible. Keep your proof of purchase and, where possible, provide photos and details of the issue so we can assess your request.
Do not dispose of the goods before we have had a reasonable opportunity to inspect them, unless we agree otherwise.

If a return is approved, we will confirm the return method and any collection, delivery or handling arrangements with you.
Refund timing and method
Once a refund is approved, we will process it using the original payment method where practical. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
Where permitted by law and agreed with you, we may offer an exchange or store credit instead of a refund for a change-of-mind return.
